The objectives of the Outdoor Class are to enhance familiarity and comfort with the natural world, to instill an ethic of caring for the environment, to increase understanding of this environment as a whole, to develop skills and understanding for living in the natural world from both a traditional and modern perspective, and to promote individual and collective growth.
